FEROSLIT FS 500

The FS 500 slitter is an industrial machine for slitting and rewinding roll stock into narrower rolls. It handles flexible packaging materials including laminates, BOPP, PET, LDPE, PP, PA, CPP, OPP and paper. It processes jumbo rolls up to 1300 mm wide, 1000 mm in diameter and 1000 kg in weight. Finished rolls can reach 600 mm in diameter and weigh up to 225 kg per shaft. The slitting system offers razor cutting for film and rotary knives for paper. Slitting widths range from 30 to 600 mm. Equipment includes a web guide with axial movement, automatic tension control, a differential shaft with ball-lock system and automatic finished-roll unloading. Components include a Siemens servo drive, German PLC, Erhardt + Leimer line guide, SKF bearings, Pepperl+Fuchs sensors and SMC / FESTO pneumatic components.
